Shasha African Wear is a new business providing the African diaspora access to modern African wear made from fabrics found in local markets in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. The company was founded in July 2021 by Hermann Shasha. His family has been wearing African clothing their whole lives having tailors from Cote d’Ivoire make their clothes for over 20 years. As being part of the African diaspora, Hermann realized that the rest of the diaspora had trouble getting contemporary African clothes. He decided to work with these tailors to showcase the beauty and ingenuity of African fashion. Our mission is to represent and inspire the African diaspora with bold, fashionable, African fabrics and styles.
Our vision it to re-connect the world and our people to their roots through fashion.
